Zambartas in distribution deal with La Maison Du Vin
The award-winning Zambartas winery has struck a commercial deal with La Maison Du Vin for the exclusive distribution of the wines to caves in Nicosia, Larnaca and Famagusta Districts.
In just six years of operation, the winery created by veteran winemaker Akis Zambartas has collected numerous awards for its premium wines that were chosen for banquets in Cyprus and abroad during the EU Presidency, while the founder’s son, Markos, representing the next generation of oenologists in Cyprus, is often invited to talk about Cyprus wines at promotional events organised by the Cyprus Tourism organisation.
“This is a new strategic cooperation that will help develop and promote premium Cyprus wines even better,” declared La Maison Du Vin’s Victor Papadopoulos.
Available for sale are the main Zambartas wines – the white Xynisteri 2011 (sold for €8.32), the red Maratheftiko (€13.26), Epicurios (€11.70) and Lefkada Shiraz (€16.38) and the Rosé (€10.79).
Asked when the new 2012 wines will be available in the market, Akis Zambartas said: “Be patient. Some will be here very soon.”
